'93 3rd gen tourer - glove box removal

OK, before I start, can anyone tell me how to remove the glove box so I can change out the center amp.

I took a quick look at it but it didn't seem that obvious. I'm going outside to mess with it again but any up front advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

press in the two hinges from the top where it meets the dash, the glove box cover should fall right down

Thanks. Got it out - easy when you know how!

Now just got to get the amp out. Looks like a tight squeeze, but should be OK

Thanks again

No wonder I broke mine.

Always undid the screws on the bracket and wiggled it out.

Glove box

Yep!, it's not obvious.Tough luck breaking yours.

Also, be carefull when you push in the 2 sides. It FEELS like the plastic is going to snap because the sides are pretty stiff, but if you do 'em one at a time they do make it. I'm sure they would snap easily if you push 'em even a little bit too far.
