Talking '91 FC Rims on my FD... pics inside

Tell me what you think of my Turbo II Rims off of my '91 on my FD. I swapped the rims from my T2 to my FD... and what do ya think. I think it looks nice. It looks a whole lot better than the stock FD rims.

I took these with my cell phone so don't hate on the pics.... It is my only Camera.


















I like how the flush the body better than the stock FD's. It is a nice, "After Market" look for the FD. I get way more looks than before.

Let me know what you guys think.

Personally I think they make it look outdated. I'd probably just stick with the stock FD wheels on it.

crap. Oh well.. Its not like they are permanent.

I think I might keep them on for awhile.

Yes they are actually. 205... versus the FD's 225* I just wanted to see them on an FD and take some pics to see what you guys thought. Just for info Pics do the real thing no justice. You have to see them in real life.

If you are in the RRDI group I will bring them to the meet this weekend and let you see them in person. If they are not accepted then I will swap them back for the FD stockers.

i have actually seen it before. it looks like crap! we have some of the nicest stock wheels you can get, how can anyone not like them??

Who cares what they look like, they weigh 10 lbs more per wheel, and they are only 16x7 with 205s! Let's jam some size 3 shoes on your feet and see how well you run....

Yeah I have to agree with that. They kind of remind me of the BBSs I had on my old Carerra, sans 2 inchs and a huge lip

Although I'm not a fan of the look, it's nice to know that those wheels fit.



I think I see what you're aiming for, however. BBS-style mesh wheels are my favorite on these cars:

Thats was the look I was looking for. I guess it didn't turn out so good.

Oh well guys, live, learn, then get huggies is what I always say when things don't go as expected. But I thought they looked nice. Interesting as to how they went more flush with the cars wheel wells than the stockers.

Yeah the rims don't work with the car. I love the rims but they dont do the FD justice. Fits the style of the FC much better.
