I had a question that i figured would be easy for some of you to help me with. I bought a set of 1300cc injectors that i will be installing soon and while i was in there i was thinking about putting the 850's into the primary (550cc) location. 850cc primary's and 1300cc secondary's. So my question is can i simply put the stock 850cc's into the 550 cc primary's location with no problems?

 

You can put them in with some minor work. You will also need a tune for it.

 

yup, but assuming you're putting the 1300s in the secondary location, you probably already planned on getting it tuned. The 850s can be made to run well at idle, but it takes some effort. Often times it'll just run rich, so if you don't mind a little black smoke at idle no worries. You do have to shave about an 1/8th of inch off the primary rail to get the 850s to sit properly in them. Do a search and you'll find what I'm talking about.
