.80 kg/m Boost from only Apexi Power intake?

HI,
I just installed my Apexi Power intake last week. Before I installed it I was getting .72 kg/m boost and tonight was the first time I pushed it since I installed the intake (not for a long period of time). The only other mods I have on the engine are new vaccum hoses, and an aluminum AST. I didn't think these other things would add to the boost (maybe the new hoses a little).
Any thoughts? Is this ok for my engine? Should an A/F guage be my next purchase?
I have a new SMIC on the way also...is it ok to install that right away, or is there something else I should upgrade first. I also have a Thermal wrapped DP waiting to go on.
Thanks
-Dave

Wow, isn't ".8" somewhere around 12 psi? If your car is putting out that much boost from just the A'PEXi intake....I'm gonna order that tomorrow! Throw that Downpipe on there for some real power!

If I am running about 11.36 psi is there a chance I am running lean? Should I be worried about this?
Thanks

I got similar results from adding that same intake. It is also a little colder outside now and that helps.

I think it might be a lil of both.....the new vacuum lines AND the intake. You might have had some leakage before.

I was under the impression that 1 bar was 14.7 psi. That would mean that 0.80 is 11.76 lbs. Sorry to be picky like that.

There's a good thread on that in the Performance section:

Sorry, a little OT.
