i got a new engine put in about 1500 miles ago by the dealership and found out my boost was 7-5-7. i did some research and with the help of people on the forum found out that both pills were missing. got them ordered and installed and now my boost is 9-8-12. now is it possible that because the pills are different sizes that they were possibly installed backwards. if so would that cause this boost pattern. i live three hours away from the shop now and don't want to take my car back and leave it for another 3 weeks so im going to fix this one myself.

 

Yes, you can try switching them but in my experience it won't that much of a difference. If you ordered the hose with the pill in it then it's not likely they got switched.

Also make sure the pills are oriented so the hole is in line with the hose.
