I bought my 51R from them (Remy battery). Highly recommended. Fast shipping, great price, no monkey business.

Hey, nice find, and I'm most definitely interested! Any idea how much this battery weighs, and is it a drop-in replacement?

the 51R is a smaller battery than stock, typically used on hondas, because of its terminal locations it will fit in the stock area of our cars, and is about 10lbs lighter

the concept of using this battery came up because the larger intercoolers would rub on the bigger batteries, so you had to either get a smaller battery or move your battery to the back somewhere (bin, hatch, et)

turbojeff made custom trays for the 51R a while back:

Last time I went to costco to get an optima, I noticed the terminals were reversed (ie: the positive terminal would be closest to the front of the car.).

I bought a turbojeff tray which is in the stock location. Get a D51R or the posts won't match up.
