Reason being, the twins could put out 20psi (not for long), but they would be beating the air up far too much. The shear amount of heat they'd be generating far exceeds any hp gains from the increased manifold pressure.

450hp with 15% drivetrain loss would equal around 380rwhp.....so maybe.

Even if you have boost levels around 16-18, the turbos won't last long. I went through 3 sets of turbos.....because of that stupid ****. Just upgrade or be happy with 320-350rwh.

400 RWHP on stock twins is not even going to be close to "reliable". Victor, you mentioned Ivan making 387 RWHP, but that was at 17 PSI, which is the upper limit of the stock twins, and at that much boost....they wont last too long.

now, 400 RWHP on stock twins is not impossible....but it not reccomended. with monster porting, all the bolt-ons, very aggresively tuned PFC, and 17 PSI, that number it attainable. but you gotta ask yourself, do you wanna torture your turbos by doing this??

that said, it is a much better idea to go the single turbo route to hit 400 RWHP. you can do it much more reliably, with less stress on the turbo system and engine.

Parallel just means non sequential. Instaed of one turbo running until 4500 and the other joining, they both spool up together.

Oh, and some people's "almost 400rwhp" is another person's 360rwhp with a dyno sheet attached.

400 rwhp on stock twins won't last long although they do last a little longer running parallel if running high boost. Less heat and less stress on the shafts. I'm going with large upgraded twins running non-seq and shooting for 380 rwhp at 14 psi. Won't be till summer though so I'll post my dyno sheets. 400 rwhp is pretty sick though

That may have been Carlos Iglesias. He put down 396 RWHP non-sequential with large injectors and a Wolf3D after he got it tuned properly. Can't remember what boost level he told me he was running, but seemed happy with the results...

I have put down 407hp RWHP with non-sequential 1,200cc(x2), 850cc(x2) with a Power FC with special custom twin turbochargers using much bigger Garretts, I know, I know you are talking about stock. If you want to know more contact Jeff from Pettit Performance. This is not a kit like M2's ball bearing, these are totally different and reliable! Been using them almost a whole year with with 17-18psi.

hmm...What Garret Twins? They cannot be that much bigger than stock considering that the stock twins would prolly put down that same amount of power on 17 pounds...U sure they werent just Jspec Twins....Also ask urself this question for that kind of power is it even worth going with the twins ur talking about? One lasty question are they sequential setup or non sequential...?

Then there is always the question off...."It's a misprint"

I'm still waiting to see some good results from M2's BB twins....

could you hit 400rwhp on the stock 99 spec turbos? Without killing the turbos that is.
