40-70 times in 2nd gear??
I've been reading some old threads of the 40-70 3rd gear tests and some of the CarTest 2000 figures of different cars but they are using 2nd gear to reach those ridiculous times. I tried mine tonight and this isn't the greatest test since redline is around 70 mph at 8K. I did a rolling 35 and hit the timer at 40 and came up with 2.3 seconds when I bounced off the rev limiter (lightweight flywheel sure speeds the revs up ) - Anyway I was pretty pleased since I still am down hp with my half-assed primary turbo. I think a 30-60 2nd gear run would be interesting or a 60-90 3rd gear run. This would be an interesting way to see how our different FDs with different mods perform compared to one another. Just an idea.

is it just me or does everyones car sort of "rumble/shake" when it hits redline? it seems like a loss of power but still 10lbs...i tried both the 40-70 and 60-90 tests, but i coudlnt get the timer to stop fast enough, lol. ill go out and try tomorrow and post what i get.
