4.33 Rear End Gears for Auto

I was concidering putting in 4.33 ring and pinion gears in place of the stock 3.90 gears. I figure this would give 10% increase in torque to rear wheels as well as rev the RPM's up faster and effectively reduce some turbo lag.

Has anyone done this with a relatively stock automatic before? If so, were there any drawbacks other than the speedometer and odometer not reading correctly.

Anyones feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
