i have been having problems with my third gen,
first thing is first the car is stock no mods with the exception of a down pipe to replace the precat.
the car was down for 2 months while waiting for the pipe.
now that i have the car running it boggs down. when i drive it at a modest pace it is fine but the moment i want to get froggy it will bogg down, it does it in every gear.
feels like i am loosing boost . i know i have an exhaust leak but it was nothing new.i checked all the vacuume lines i found 2 that needed replaced but even that didnt help.
i dont think i have a blown engine since it has great get up and go
im getting a compression check soon so that may give me an idea of what it is,
if any one can give me advice of some thing that i missied i will go ahead and check it.i have posted in other rx7 forums . but so far no luck

 

Your tune might be really really f*cked up. does it do it around same rpm? if so probably tune.
---maybe sparkplugs?

 

Do you have a boost gauge to verify the boost you're getting?

Its not the tune, as he is all stock except for the downpipe. Sounds like the car is hitting fuel cut for some reason.
