-3 OMP lines

I'm tossing in a reman this weekend and I wanted to replace the OMP lines with braided stainless.

I went to my local aeroquip dealer, but they didn't have any -2 line. I went ahead and had the lines made up in -3.

Am I looking at any problems with making the lines a bit bigger?

I'm thinking because the pump is a positive displacement, that I should be ok...the same amount of oil will be pushed up no matter what...and the boost is what actually pushes most of the oil in...right? There is some pressure, but as I understand it not very much. I could be totally off base here.

any advice would be appreciated.

gothamracing.com sells the steel braided OMP lines for pretty cheap. How much did it run you to make your own?

umm, you need to stick with a tried and true method...

the OMP puts out very little oil pressure at all, so if you increase the size of the lines, you might be lucky to get any oil through them, i think they're small for a reason...
