Hi guys,

I have a 94 FD with ~40k miles and awesome!
*but* only one problem....

when boosting from low rpm I get the dialed boost and no abnormal sounds, but when the sec turbo comes on-line I hear what sounds to be a leak......whistling sound !! ... always at ~ 4.5krpm.
Even when getting on it at 4krpm I could hear the 2nd turbo pre-spooling with the same sound.....and the noise remains as long as over 4.5krpm.

I've replaced all the vacuum hoses under intake, checked the bypass valve from 2nd turbo.

Mods:
Power FC, Greddy PE cat-back, downpipe, Greddy intake and Greddy pulleys with no air pump.

This noise has been there since the car was stock !!!!!

Have you checked all of the nuts of the bolts that hold the turbos onto the motor? I had a couple loose nuts there and it was vibrating and leaking a bit of exhaust there. When tightened everything was ok. Very easy to identify when looking at the turbos from underneath. Make sure car is cool. G.....
