2500+rpm idle issues

Info on car, TEC3r, all emissions removed, ICV is eliminated, Thermowax removed, Coolant bypassed tb and directed back in to the water pump housing. Full Bridgeport.

Alright, I got my Full bridge put together and in, it started up the first time. Only problem is that while warming up the idle is just about normal But when the car warms up however, the will just climb up to around 2500rpms. If i drive the car around it will idle at 3k rpm or around that rpm range. Sometimes i can force the idle down but it will just climb back up.

I have adjusted the tps but it is in range. I can adjust it up and down and the idle will drop but than shoot back up. The TB plates all close properly and the springs are nice and clean.

Timing is fine, Fuel is good, throttle cable is fine, i can adjust the idle manually but once again it is either too low of an idle and it will die or sit at 1800 and climb back up.

I saw one thread on here in the second gen that there problem was a leak at the throttle body to UIM.

Anyone have any insight i might be missing. I am getting ready to do a smoke test to check for vacuum leaks.

Thanks Jake

Thanks for the info, but i do not have any emissions on my car at all so the aws is out. A Vacuum leak is possible, I am still waiting to hear back from a local shop who has a smoke tester.

I also thought it might be a ground, so i will go through my grounds again and sand away and test to voltages again in the meantime.
