Hi Eddie!
I still lurk from time to time. Having a baby really changes the equation on free time!
Tried to forward some 4 rotor vids to you last weekend but couldn't find your email addy. Same for Roan. Posted them up on the forum.

Mike - I still vividly remember goading Chris into a display of power in his old MB car going down the FDR. He drove in from Jersey for my bachelor party, bad traffic, temps in untuned ranges... popped the motor. I remember him calling Rich on the side of the road - holding phone up to exhaust and not being pleased with diagnosis..... and so began the 20B!

I have a couple weddings in July/Aug but if I can swing it, I'd like to come up. Anyone let me ride shotgun on the track?!
Best,
John

Good news! Hotel reservations have been finalized. We have a block of 20 rooms for now - 10 single beds & 10 double beds.

Comfort Inn & Suites
3189 Route 940
Mount Pocono, PA 18344
(570) 839-9282

Block details: The block is from Aug 30th (Friday) to Sept 1st (Sunday)
Single bed king rooms: $99/night
Double bed queen rooms: $110/night

The hotel is 10 minutes from the raceway so travel time won't be horrible. Additionally, they have plenty of parking and no issue with loud cars. We'll also have an area setup to wash your cars behind the hotel.

Reservation details: When you call please let them know you are part of the "Chris Carlisi Memorial Meet" group.

If you have any issues or hear rooms are starting to run low please let me know.

John,

Glad you popped in. I am 100% going to be at the event this year.
On a side note, I have been practicing! Will PM you a link and you will remember what I was getting into before Chris passed.
I think you may agree that the practice has paid off!

I don't believe you had to goad Chris much when it came to showing off the single turbo kit he built himself!

You may be moving? Not out of NJ though right? I think they passed a law where we arnt allowed to leave.
Its just like coming into NJ is free across any bridge. Leaving...well you gotta pay to leave.

We have another repeat sponsor.... Bryan 'Big Daddy' Nickell of www.BNRSupercars.com has agreed to provide a reduced cost set of his Stage 3 Twin Turbos for the raffle. I'm working on buttering him up in order to get the turbos at a stupid low cost

Loved the pics!

You're right, actually... all I had to do was say "hmm, that doesn't feel nearly as fast as my old single turbo"... and the rest is history!

I'm doing some legwork on flights up that weekend - is Allentown the closest/most convenient airport to the venue?
Will a flight in early AM put me there in time to be a part of the event?

I saw Rich at the Petit LeMans last year, but for a lot of the rest of you it's been years. Good to catch up and honor Chris' memory.
