Makes me wonder when I read the post title.

99-02 Mazda Rx-7 spirit-R. Efini

FYI, The "Spirit-R" version was the run out special from JUL-AUG 2002.

Mazda Japan sold the series-6 (92-95) & the series-7 (96-98) under the "Efini" brand. The sreies-8 (99-02) version was badged a "Mazda" as they consolidated the companies branches.

Thus, there are no efini versions from 99-02, no 99-01 Spirit-R's either

I fail to see why you'd go through the hassle of importing an RX7... even Spirit R... to the states. For the cost, time, EPA/Federalization, and insurance hassles, you could just pick up either a pre-modded U.S-spec car, and/or buy a US spec car and built it to far greater performance with aftermarket parts.

Ok, I'm not trying to be harsh, but I'm going to start locking threads about importing '96+ FD3S into the US.

If you can actually do it; then bring one over, legalize it and then post back how much it cost and that it can be done. Then we'll start keeping these threads around. Fair enough?

If you don't agree, let me know in PM's.
