1992 RHD Exhaust questions (kakimoto mega n1)

Hey everyone currently working on my 92 that came with a kakimoto mega n1. I'm looking to remove my CAT because the core is falling apart and occasionally shooting out. I'm not looking to change from the stock twins or do heavy modifications to the engine.

Does anyone have experience with kakimoto's center/mid pipe?

Going to polish and restore at a later date.

In general, a midpipe is a midpipe. Prepare for your car to be significantly more loud than it is already.

Perhaps more important, though, is the danger of going to a midpipe. Being that you already have a full intake, (and with that midpipe installed) a full exhaust, all it may take is one WOT pull to destroy your engine due to an overboost condition, especially if you are on the factory ECU. I'm on a PFC with a Racing Beat dual, resonated midpipe, and the stock airbox. Even I watch my boost like a hawk given I just got my car back, and my exhaust is significantly more restrictive than yours.
