1992 FD Acting Weird??? HELP
I have a JDM 1992 FD. Starting a few days ago, my idler pulley for the AC and PS went bad and started squealing like crazy(used the screwdriver as a stethoscope to make sure it wasnt the PS Pump or AC Compressor). I ordered that and it will be here soon.
Fast forward a couple days and the squealing got worse and now theres a rattling noise from the left side of the motor where the PS Pump and AC Compressor are. So I take it easy while driving and keep things very mild. (The FD is my daily so I have no other car to get me around)
Fast forward another day(today) and the rattling got worse, the squealing got way quieter(weird...), the engine died on me about 5 min away from my work, would start if you played with the gas but wouldnt hold idle at all, let it sit for 3 minutes then it fired right up and idled normally like nothing ever happened. I drove the 25 miles home on the freeway being extremely cautious of the terrible stock gauges and any new noises, and when I got off the freeway, I noticed a vibration through the shifter that was never there before. Only feel it in neutral, but when you press in the clutch, it gets slightly better.
Do I just have a cursed FD?
Also I replaced the clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, and clutch fork 3 months ago and torqued everything properly.
