13b vs 13btt fc and fd
You can drop virtually any engine you want into an FD, but, while I have no real understanding of the BENEFITS of the 13BT, I'm not entirely sure why you'd swap it in over a 13B-REW. Significant changes were made to the 13B-REW, the twin turbos notwithstanding... and you won't get those with a 13BT.
Consider this:
Cost of clean FD roller = $6000-8000 roughly
Cost of building a 13BT to exceed 13BREW specifications = $3000 or more, depends on parts and labor.
Cost of custom fabrication of motor mounts = $800-1000
Cost of wiring/custom ECU = $1500-2000
So... your project would cost between roughly $11.5K and $14K. You are barely beating the bone stock FD in price and performance for what I promise is more trouble than it's worth.
Do an FC right and drop that engine into it. It'll be a screamer and it won't break the bank.
