Hey guys,

I was just wondering how much a bare 13B weighs without any accessories bolted on. I'm talking about no alternator, air pump, turbos/manifolds, flywheel(if it can be removed), and everything else that is bolted on to the outside. I wanna know the exact weight of just the housing, front/mid/rear cover and internals. Trying to see if it's under 130-140lbs so it can be shipped via UPS/Fedex.

Its right around 200lbs for just the block alone. ~190 if I remember correctly.

dang, was hoping it would be a lot less then that. So I guess I'd have to look into freight companies to ship blocks.

I can weight mine at the weekend if you want.

I cant see it being 200lbs as I can pick it up no bother and lift it on to a 3foot high bench.

With all the **** on I can still pick it up but its very heavey, 2 man job to lift it onto the bench.

 

It is 220lbs. I can show you the shipping label if you'd like. take off the flywheel weight and the plastic box weight to get the block only weight.

 

Mine showed 210 on the packing sheet. So along with everyone else call it that or close to it.
