OK, i know there are a lot of people out there transplanting STOCK RE's without replacing the front cover... so, what do you do for parts? I want to replace the water pump and I found out today that it's not the same as a 3rd gen water pump. and it doesn't have the same bolt pattern as 86-88 13B. So, along these lines, what about the gaskets on the turbos, intake, etc. and thermostats?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

turbo II water pumps are the same.... I believe.

 

what years T II? is the T II water pump different than N/A from the same years?

Its the same as the S5, all models I believe.

Also you can use an FD water pump, water pump housing, and all pulleys. The water pump doesn't mount to the front cover and the front housing in the water pump area is the same as the S5 and rew

 

Ok here is what I got going on, I have a 13b rew motor in my fc, the fd housing won't work with my set up so I bought a s5 turbo housing, and I have a water pump from my 13b re cosmo motor can I use that water pump with my s5 housing on the fd motor?
