13B-RE in FD?

Ok, here is the scoop. I recently blew my coolant seals in my 93 FD. I called an engine importer and they said they had a j-spec for me. So it was celebration time. Well the motor showed up yesterday and it is a 13B-RE from a Cosmo. Here are the questions

1. If I were to strip the engine down to the block and use all the FD plumbing and motor mounts, can I use the motor?

2. What kind of HP does the RE put out?

3. Will all the FD parts bolt to the Cosmo block?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, just trying to figure out if I should keep it or send it back.

So with all the knowledge on this board, no one has any input, that is truly amazing. I guess I will just ship the motor back today then. Thanks for nothing guys.

Thanks for nothing? Please spare me. It's our fault that you have motor that is very rare in the U.S.? It's our fault that you didn't check to see what engine code this j-spec engine place was sending you before you ordered it?

Post this in the performance mods forum as some of the Aussie/NZ guys hang out in there and would be able to tell you more about that motor. Oh and like Majik said you might try doing a search next time first.
