13b re

hey wuz up guys im new to the club so hows it going i need some help im going to buy a 13b re motor for my 93 mazda r7 and its a cosmo whatever that means but i just wanted to know if its a good idea will it llast or will i run into any problems or whats tthe difference that and stock can somebody help me please.

you know my problem ...
I have rx7 and I order engine from japan because my car just body and trans
and when I order I saw the engine its cosmo engine 13b re not rew
what can I do is it will fit correctly and without any problem.

The 13B-RE's biggest problem to overcome is the different mounting. A RE's motor mounts are on the side of the engine, the FD is on the bottom. Other than that, the intake is better flowing, and the port runners are larger. I make engine mounts that will fit the 20B/ 13B-RE into the FD. So let me know if you need a set.

Answer is that it's a bad idea. Just get your motor rebuilt or get a reman 13B-REW.

Way too many question marks. GtoRX7 posted up above that he sells motor mounts that will help with part of your problem.

Btw, I've been out at Camp Doha in the summer time, and I can't imagine how an FD would survive those temps.......
