.12 amp power draw on room fuse, slowly killing battery - anyone seen this?

Hmm i dont have a aftermarket alarm so thats out but I did switch to a smaller Miata sealed battery when I installed a vmount. Maybe ill switch back to the larger standard battery, remove all interior LEDs and hope for the best.

Well try removing the interior leds and replace them with the stock bulbs and check if you have the drain still, if not it's something else then.

+1 this happened to me. The little spring mechanism in the ignition switch was broken when I purchased the car so the key illumination would never shut off.

I also have a parasitic draw on my room fuse. My amp draw is 140mA, and drops down to 20mA once the room fuse is pulled.

I narrowed it down to the C1-01 connectors with 12 pins. These connectors are the ones that plug in behind the gauge cluster. There are 2 12 pin connectors, and my amp draw goes away if either are unplugged.

I've replaced this speedo, and repaired my odometer when the capacitors in them failed. There must be something funny going on with my speedo/odometer

If all else fails, we're talking about installing a relay on the room fuse circuit that only opens when you key on. It's a workaround but will solve the problem.

Mine was an intermittent draw and some other intermittent odd electrical issues. Turned out to be CPU#2.

I forgot about this thead. Be carefull with some aftermarket upgraded alternators. The constant 12volt supply from the egi fuse will power the internal voltage regulator causing a draw. The factory alternator doesn't have this problem. I'm gonna have to rewire my 12v to a swithed source to fix this issue.
