Today there's a big racing event going on here in sweden and a person i know with an RX-7 made that time with these mods:

pettit ECU, dp, no catback, exhaust, everything 3", open air filter, bigger intercooler.

He ran with stock rims and im not sure if he ran with normal road tires but i believe he does.


It was the first run for him with theses mods so im guessing it's a very good run.

what do u think?

hehehe.... the numbers on the screen misled sometimes. I couldnt belive it when I saw it.

I had no traction in first gear (bad streed tires on a strip is not a good combination). I boosted 0.5 bar (7psi) at that run.

My last run I did 13.26 / 171.21 km/h with 0.7 bar (10 psi) with lots of wheel hop. I dont know how to get rid of it, I had 1 bar (14.5psi) in the rear tires.

So what do you think about the times? are they normal?
I hope to get a 12 sec next time when I go non-seq, midpipe and my intercooler comes in place (had a borrowed this time).

 

here is a nice pic from an other run when I got so many wheel hop that I let it go and started over, I got the supra anyway in the end. he had almost the same mods as I and boosted 1 bar. hehe.
