103,000 miles!!! no rebuild

103,000 miles no rebuild, still running strong with 10psi. seq twins. eventhough the car has her times, so far nothing major. cept for some coolant burning off at startup. lol.

i know i will need to rebuild soon. but this is just proof that the rotary engine can last a long time, as long as you take good care of her, and do your reliability mods.

good luck with your cars guys!!! have fun

Even though my engine has only done 25,000+ miles... they do last if you want it to! Rotarys are so much better than pistens

My old car made it 120k on the stock motor, no reman sticker ect.... I romped on it everwhere. When I pulled it apart everything was looking good.

Thumbs up

61k miles on mine and it gets raped every time I dirve it ! Running at 410bhp (maxed out stock fuel system).

I expect engine to last another few years easily, I run 200:1 premix in conjunction with the OMP, this greatly reduces apex seal wear (little hint for you all )

Thanks for the tip about why we should premix, just adds more credence to the other thread concerning the OMP and the RA mod.

Or the fact that it's amazing when a 13bREW lasts over 100k.

Mine lasted 136K miles until coolant started leaking into the exhaust and i was hitting fool boost around 3000RPMs. Now i have a street ported motor with 2.5K on it. Its running great! Rotaries are amazing

ROFL.
you guys and your silly "high mileage" rotaries...

117 kms here.... Motor is still great, pulls hard everywhere and starts and idles great. but all the other **** is breaking. Rad, bushings, clutch, injectors, interior, odometer, my power steering is acting funny... I mean, all that **** goes out the window as soon as I hit that first corner, but it adds up and gets annoying and expensive... Still love my car.

mine died at 108k. No warning.

Pulled up to a parking lot and parked went into the store. Came out about 15 minutes later turned on the car and I heard this god awful noise. Engine seized. That was it. Prior to that my vacuum was at 17...

Start saving if you haven't done so already. You could last for another mile or for an additional 40k miles. Ya never know
