100% injector duty!!!!!! 3rd gear on dyno?

Got my fd tuned yesterday - made great power, however injector duty was crazy!! 550 cc and 1300cc injectors at 100% should support 558.5 flywheel hp! He tuned it on a mustang dyno. He did the runs in 3rd gear - said 4th was to hard on the car? He said they have different rollers on there right now. So i am unsure what the difference is between this mustand readings and a dyno jet dyno.
The numbers were 293 rwhp @ 11 psi and 333 rwhp @ .9 bar
WHAT IS UP WITH THE 100% ?!?! He could not support more boost due to not enough fuel - I wanted to run 1 bar. A/F were mid 10's to low 11's - What is the deal? Any ideas? thanks!! stock reman, stock twins, Mods include PFC, m2 intake, m2 medium IC, dp, ntech high flow cat, dual n1, 9.5 lb sr flywheel, act clutch.

Some thing doesn't sound right, are you still using the stock fuel pump? And FPR?

who is the guy who did the tuning?
The numbers look good but i have no idea what happened with the inj%

if it was tuned rich to use all that feul you wouldnt make that much power so thats out...sounds to me like you have the stock 850s in there and not 1300s

I was told that a setting was not changed - ms on the 1300's
I should have changed it from 0.00 to 0.20 ms
any idea? And that i should be ok making that change now. If i change this ms will it require more dyno time? Or should i just leave it the way it is and not pay attention to the % number ?

why did he tune in 3rd gear, you should tune in 4th gear. Your car might lean out in 4th gear in the higher rpms.

i too questioned why he was tuning in 3rd gear - he said on 5 speeds they tune in 3rd, 4th is too hard on the car. I guess i need to my A/F's in 4th with a wideband before I run it up high in 4th.

i think it was 0.02 ms - not 0.20
any idea?

If you change the injector delay, it will change your A/F ratios when the secondaries come in.....

Something is wrong, it definitely sounds like you are running stock 850cc injectors. You should be below 80% duty at 1 bar.

Also, I would think that tuning could be done in 3rd, as long as it's done conservatively and should certainly be checked in 4th to verify safe tuning.

he actually said when he added fuel it would add fuel but still read 100% - I just got the injectors back from RC engineering with the flow chart - one flowed 1299 and the other flowed 1304 and i installed them myself so i know there in there - hmmmm

And you are SURE the PFC is setup for 1300cc injectors -- both the size and fractions have been entered?

that's bullshit about 3rd being too hard on car. standard practice on FDs, when tuning on a dyno, is 4th gear.

as far as the inj. % - what AFR is he tuning it too? 11.0 is on the richer side things, while 11.8 or higher is getting pretty lean. I could be wrong, but if he is trying to tune for something like 10.0 or something, (excessively rich), that could explain why the inj duty is so high.

he said 4th was too hard on the car - i am guessing that is what you meant. A/F ranged from 10.6 - 11.6 - mostly 11ish
They are having a dyno day this weekend so i will make a 4th gear run with wideband to see where it is at. I will post a printout asap.
They have yet to get me printouts - we tuned yesterday and finished late.
