100% injector duty + 204 knock

On the way home tonight, I ran into a mustang cobra at a red light... so anyways, after I sent him home crying (actually, it was pretty much even) I looked at the peak holds on my PFC and it read 100% injector duty and 204 knock . What should I do to check if any damage was done (other than a compression test)? and what should I do to prevent this in the future? bigger injectors? bigger fuel pump?? ecu tuning?

My mods are as follows:

hot-air intake
stock twins
efini y-pipe
greddy SMIC
downpipe
stock cat
trust exhaust
apex'i power FC (factory settings)

How much boost were you running? A larger fuel pump and some bigger secondaries would probably be something to consider soon.

If your idle is the same as it was before, your car is fine. Idle gets rough and lumpy, and the vacuum gauge jumps around when you damage a seal. But it sounds like you need some upgrades in the fuel system department to keep it healthy.

You will definitely need to tune your ECU since you're running factory settings. Also, it would be a good idea to get a rising fuel pressure regulator and a bigger fuel pump.

I've seen a few cars with td-06/25G's and A/R .50 with 60-1 wheels run on stock injectors boosting 1.0 kilos with a rising fuel pressure regulator and a wahlboro fuel pump. No need for injectors until you get a td-07 or a real t-04S.

Also, I highly recommend getting the pfc datalogit equipment. That way, you could see where you were knocking and fix it before it's too late.
