1.5 Bat ???
1.5 Bat ???
Hey, this is a new one on me but when I went to get my 1992 RX7 Series 6 Efini (ex Japan) insured they had a few engine sizes listed. I had to choose between something like the following:
rotary turbo
13B turbo
1.5 series 6 turbo (!?!)
I was wondering which would be safer to choose because at least the third definition says it's a series 6 whereas the 13B turbo could possibly mean it's a 1992 series 5 (assuming S5s were made in the beginning of 1992 - somewhere in the world at least, such as Aust or Japan maybe). Okay so know I am about to ask a completely dumbas$ question, is there any magical way that when an insurance assessor sees the motor it could be a factory 1.5 and not a 1300cc ? The motor has 13B written on it, so I really, realllly doubt it, but you know how it is insuring these cars, I just want to cover myself so any possible claim is solid. Appreciate hearing from anyone who's ever heard of a 1.5 series 6. It might be for the Australian market because the company that did the insurance is Australian based. Any ideas anyone?
