It's so funny how worked up Slingshot got over this. What a baffoon.
I don't know about you, but I don't worry about what other people think of me or my car. Never have, never will. You must have been the nerd in high school that couldn't get girls and had really bad acne. Your pride and joy is you can afford a "sports car" now so it must make you cool. Grow up kiddie Slingshot, you have a lot to learn.
Isn't it funny how all the manual guys come in these auto threads labeled "1/4 mile times for auto FD". Like it has anything to do with them. They just like trying to make their "e-*****" look big saying, "you can't beat my single turbo, manual FD in the 1/4...what a waste of time and money". Its the same argument told by different ignorant fools everytime. Then when you call them on it, they go into attack mode trying to get you to race them. Sounds familiar huh?
I think you guys are just bitter because you got
suckered into buyig a girlie auto FD..
I am sure all the admirers like your car then they look
in the car, and say " ITS a auto" with a cringe..
Must be a wonderful feeling..

I will throw a bet out to Slingshotrx7. Since no AUTO FD can even go in the 13's, lets put a wager on it. By the end of the summer "A" ( maybe mine ) auto will go 13's. Want to put money on it fine, bet something else fine. It is funny how you went from a auto doing 13's to now 12's. Why is that? I think it is you are full of ****.
If you haven't noticed that every FD has problems than give me some of the stuff you are smoking or sniffing. Because maybe thats because you don't own a FD at all and just like to make some more **** up.
Yes, before you open your mouth again on something you don't know, I do have a FD go to www.BanzaiRacing.com it is the White one.

I was barely a bumper ahead with a Mach 1 from a 20mph roll. All I have is intake and cat-back. Not bad for an auto eh? I would imagine a manual FD would be the same with the same mods I have.

My advice now is to set your sights on 11's and then join me in the chase for 10's
The best thing about getting in to the 10's with an FD is going to be turning on the A/C and stereo for the ride home (using cruise control of course )

4.77s might be good for another .2 or something.
Your '60 time isn't that great, cut .3 sec off there and you'll be 13.5 or so. I've had an auto and first gear was a killer, after that it moved pretty good.

Yeah, there's a bunch of little things I'm going to do before cracking into the tranny....it's still not what I would consider a solid "bpu" yet so I'm going to make sure the car is running clean and efficiently, right there is at least half a second (AFR's, boost, egt's, all that tuning nonsense).

funny enough, i was running 15's all night trying the hold/manual shift mode. I just threw it in D for the hell of it, stood on the brake and the gas, and just jumped off the brake and pulled the 14.1. Weird...
