I dont get it. Are the 20b's on the second gen rx-7's? Or are they special engines you have to make or get shipped. How much power output would a stock 20b make? Thanks a buch.

 

They are from a Mazda Cosmo that was only sold in Japan. The 20B is a 3 rotor twin turbo engine. It is used in a common swap in 2nd or 3rd gen RX7's. They are rated 280hp @ stock so you could imagine the power possibilties.

 

a 20b engine doesn't come stock on any rx7's. There are many different types though, with different hp.

 

20b are three rotor tt engines that come from the jap market from Cosmos. Use the search button.. Or read that sticky at the top for newbies... (talks about searching) You will find many of post.. they can be dropped into various cars two most popular being the 3rd gen rx7 and 2nd gen rx7.. power output is great.. and tourque as well.. Exact numbers are goign to depend on what mods... Do a search and you will find what you are look for.. Also call or go to www.alamorotary.com; www.pettitracing.com or www.pfsupercars.net.. All three of these places are known and have done the 20b swap.. expensive


And every newbie that comes here wants a 20b.. (including myself) heheh but most or none never get it.. VERY expensive... good luck hope my answer enough..
