Okay, right now I'm in a bind. While I have been looking to sell my car and buy something else, the thought occured to me, why spend all that money on a new car? Why not just drop it into my 7 and keep it?
So what could be done for $20k? Considering I have some small things done: PFC, FMIC, Intakes, DP, MP, CB, coil-overs, rims, body kit, TwinPower, Y-pipe
I guess I would be looking into a LARGE turbo and a built motor. What kinda hp numbers should I be able to pull out with that kind of money?

custom fit a big-screen in the rear. that would be mad sick tight yo! no what RotorMotor said, get a big-*** turbo and port the motor...although i don't know what kind of numbers you'd be looking at. you could always send it my way and i could put it into my 3rd gen
With 20K into a car i think you seriously could build a crazy crazy racecar from the chassis, carbon fiber panels to a crazy motor/turbo combo.
If you go crazy with things such as racing seats, interior, stereo, that could be 10K right there. Paint job body kit nice rims will be another 8-10K.

if you dont have it already, you better get the most important mod for any FD..... a daily beater! for like $1000 you could pick up an older civic that would run forever
thennnnnnnn, i would go check out the single turbo forum and ask those gues, the new hot turbo for street driving is the Garret 35/40 and then get a street port... some nice new rims and a nice coil-over suspension..... then maybe a little interior and stereo, and some nice new racing seats.... yummy!
good luck

Id use it as a down payment on a new zo6....call me crazy.
even 20 grand wont get you a reliable seven. Highly modded sevens are very temperamental...even more so than the stockers. I should know..Ive spent 20 grand on mine over the past year and a half.
granted it would be a hell of a lot of fun...and is...but tis short term fun until it ends up back in the garage/shop.
dont get me wrong...I love the fd...its just if I had it to do all over again...Id get a zo6 and put exhaust/intake/ecu and be almost as damn fast....and a hundred times more reliable.

I would just get the basic reliability mods, some performance bolt ons for 2-3k and a daily beater.
The rest I would put towards a house or go traveling for a few months or just put it in the bank.
If you put all in the car its down the drain and gone......
