Wiper motor repair

My wiper motor quit working, brushes were bad. Of course it's super hard to get a replacement motor.

i sent it off classicwipers.com to get rebuilt. 200 and some odd bucks later it's working. They even sent me a video of it working (being shipped to me currently).

Not sure if it solves the overall slow wipers everone complains about but if your stops working all together and its the motor thats bad its a big save!

yeah I've read over that. I was worried about sourcing the correct brushes, etc. And it was cheaper than the motor if I had been able to find it.

Let us know if it's faster! I went through the whole linkage cleaning and greasing procedure and it hardly made a difference.

Service your wiper linkage when you put this back in.

Mine had quit completely and now it all works. It's not any faster though. Even when not connected to linkage. I think that's more of the nature of the motor itself.

I typically don't drive the 7 if its going to rain but its nice to have wipers for when i do get caught.
