Talking What is this part (HOOD) and what purpose does it serve?

No idea what this does? But I'm trying to bring the car back to stock (clean) as possible. See the green arrows

That's my car, lol. Supposedly they can be difficult to find, or so I am told by other FD people.

Yep, I bought those new a few years back for my car. You will also need some pop clips that hold them in place, also available new.

Trying to track down the part # for this thing. Looked at the parts Catalog but no dice. Anyone know it? If not no biggie, going to the dealer tomorrow or friday

Ooo and this retainer clips are pretty universal , almost the same for all Jap cars , check you eBay, you can buy 100 for like 5$ shipped .

I can tell you they are pretty damn identical to OEM, I mean you can found thousand in junkyards.

It's easier now that the flames of hell melted all the great white snow.
