Trust SMIC with 99 spec air guide

I managed to fit the 99 spec air guide with the trust smic. I have an autoexe intake but I kind of like this oem look.
What do you guys think about this setup?

Looks good. I have a similar setup using a Blitz SMIC. Low risk of tickets for emissions system modification, too.

Did you reroute the front air bag crash sensor cable to run under the support?

Yes i did. Besides having to trim the bottom portion of the air guide for the smic, I also had to drill a slot for the airbag sensor bolt.

Interesting. I did not need to make any modifications when I rerouted the sensor in my car. It just bolts to the exact same location, only difference is that the cable runs under the support versus over it.

Yes, i did the exact same. But in order for the 99 spec airguide to fit, i had to make a few modifications to have it sit flush.

Makes sense. The Greddy SMIC is quite a bit thicker than the OEM one, so that would interfere with the air guide. Keeping OE look is the way to go in California, so kudos for making it work.
