Are there counterfeit Greddy Elbows

I bought one of eBay and the quality on the casting is terrible, pitting everywhere. The insides of the elbow aren't very clean either. Definitely sending this back and paying extra money to have one shipped over from Japan. Did this slip pass quality control or is this an outright knockoff?

Post up a picture. It's a common upgrade, so I'm sure many forum members here can let you know if it looks off.

I've seen other companies making them... Pettit has one along with CX Racing? Maybe? I don't think either of them have the "GReddy" on it - so not a direct "knock off".

I believe I have a brand new one from my GReddy VMIC kit if you need it.

I've seen ones without the Greddy logo, so I know there are knockoffs out there. That is most likely the case.

Yes there are.. and they cost as much as the legit one without the logo.
Buy the legit Greddy one, cause the knock off eventhough they are made of aluminum and the flenge to throtle body fits very well, they fit higher and the stock front strut bar will hit it.

Buddy of mine has a knock off Greddy elbow - calls it a Freddy elbow .

BTW, that HKS cast elbow is really damn rare. Even more rare is the version without the additional injectors.
