Yeah, there is no point in using buyee shipping when Jesse does it really well for low cost. I can email him at night and within minutes I have an email back with a PayPal link and off we go. Doesn't get any better.

Jesse would not touch this with a 10ft pole
Its basically a nightmare item: Large, flat, fargile, cheap.

I could possibly pay him enough to deal with it, but he was pretty clear in his email that he did not want to deal with roof skins

This box should work. it is quite robust. Maybe we can look up seamail from Western Canada to Norway.

I have a freight forwarder that use sea freight in the US that i use when i have shipments or shops that does not do international. I just need to find someone who sells a mint condition roof liner
I can get the actual roof at the local dealer for $600 so im considering to get that also from the US, but Ray does not respond to my emails :/

One was offered over here for $500 the other day!!

Unless you have something in Norway the equivalent of a Japanese auto parts importer (Import Monster style) with their own containers or maybe grey car importer, who can put the liner inside a car, it's going to be pretty hard - and spendy.

BC Roof in box by sea.

Canada Post is showing me C$265.37 including fuel surcharge for seamail (4~12 weeks)

Box has to be 48x5x33 or less.

@av8r01 did a sunroof to slick top conversion. He might be able to comment.

FWIW, I did mine without that center brace. I don't think it's significant structurally as far as making the chassis any stiffer or anything like that, it's mostly to be sure the skin doesn't deflect. I'm careful when I (or anyone else) details the roof, and it hasn't been an issue.

I looked into getting my roof liner to Norway, but the box had to be too big and so using the post office was ruled out.

Rates quoted by Fedex, UPS (and the like) were well over C$1000.

Box needed to be 54"X40"X8". I could achieve this by combining two adjustable size Uhaul flat panel TV boxes. ($10/each).
