Since the rx7 fd3s is from japan and samurai's are also from japan, i thought i would add
a bit of samurai to my interior.
I had a momo knock off handbrake cover i got for $10 dollars and used the top and bottom and the tube for the base.
I purchased a samurai sword gear shift handle for $20 dollars and pulled it apart because the inside is solid oval wood and would not work on the handbrake and just used a few parts from it.
A few parts have to be changed from oval to round.
Then i milled the alloy tube on each side to get back to oval.
Finished and on the car.
I have a WTB post i am after a CHEAP / BROKEN / RUFF any color LHD passenger side door trim and plastic handle to replace my RHD driver side door trim so i have two matching door trims so i can replace the two handles with samurai sword handles. the door trim if broken or very ruff can be cut in half or in four for cheaper shipping / post to Australia
