RB Dual Tip exhaust old vs. new

So I found out apparently there are 2 versions of RB exhaust. From what I found out, old one is made by RSR (ribbed construction and engraved exhaust tips) and the new one is uni-body and has embossed tips.
Other than cosmetics, are there any performance or sound differences?

When selling my RB, it came to light ... curious to know if anyone has experience.

I know that there are old ones that are black painted mufflers and pipe, later ones are all polished stainless.

Stupid question time...what's the difference between 'engraved' and 'embossed'? The one I bought last year directly from RB has what appears to be laser-etched logos on the tips.

Oh wow. I am planning to upgrade to a racing beat dual-tip exhaust sometime this year, but I didn't know they switched over to that laser-etched look. I much prefer the old style.

Meh...like 'em both, maybe the old stamped version a little more but not enough to regret buying mine.

BTW...if anyone needs the RB stainless version of the rear hanger send me a PM. I didn't realize the catback came with one and have an extra. Brand new.

Same here. How far back do you have to go to get the embossed/engraved version, I wonder?

The embossed / engraved one is possibly for sale if anyone is interested; I have my eye on something else.
PM me.

Just noticed...both old and new have double walled tips but on the new versions it's closed...which looks a little better imo.

This is correct. They also were much more aggressive (better imo) looking with 3" wide tips. Not many of them around though.
