Question Question about owning a FD

Just registered as a new member to this site, hope I didn't post on a wrong forum.
I haven't own a 7 yet but if I want to buy one, what should I be aware of? (common issues, cost to own it, maintenance, etc)
I belive this question has been asked before, a simple link to the similar thread that has been answered would be helpful for me.

Biggest look you need to take at is if you want a LHD or RHD car,as each has their own issues that plague them. I have a LHD car and parts can be a pain since they only made them for a 3 year run, rhd cars have issues since they had so many variants that sourcing some things will have to come from overseas and shipping charges add up quick! Also with a rhd fd you run into the issue of some insurance peeps not wanting to insure for a reasonable amount.

I'll usually look at the radiator and/or the AST 1st. If those two haven't been replaced at some point, it means the previous owner(s) most likely didn't know much about these cars.
Unless it's a complete garage queen, keep an eye out for those two.

Also, if it's an FD you're considering, you might want to make sure you have a few bucks in the bank. Beautiful? Check. Rare? Yep. Iconic? Hell yeah. Reliable? Not so much.

I'd start with a very patient and understanding significant other.
