Are you looking for a factory powered rack?

Yeah, probably easier to PM the OP than hope they'd spot something a couple years later! If it's anything like gear cutters here, normally need a decent minimum order to get anything made, 10+ usually.

If no luck, not sure there's that huge a number of small scale rack makers in the UK - I might try Titan as well.

You can add as much assist as you want at various speeds. You can set it to only come on from 0-10 mph, for example, as well as how much assist you want.
Finally getting around to installing a Kei epas here, do notice the system above would seem to delete the collapsible column, unless there's something hidden in the upper section of tube. Indulging in the same fault as the guy above after 2 years, i dd you see anything there perhaps? As standard, it appears to be ~ 100mm telescoping if you have a frontal prang, plus 25mm in the steering shaft to the rack. Even the original kei car had 75mm. Going to 25mm only (if that's the case) seems a bit 1950s British sportscar death wish!

The problem with the granny's rack is there were two. Slow ratio and quick ratio. They only make the slow now, which I think is the opposite direction in terms of steering quickness.

Hi mate, I am looking into getting the same steering rack. Prices are extremely high but they told me if I could find even 1 other person who was interested it would shave costs significantly. Did you end up buying one? If not, are you interested?

This year I am still running with an unpowered rack, however I was able to find and buy a powered rack only I have not installed it. Pros and cons at this point in time. What are they asking for the Atomic Rack?

I've asked them how much it would come down if we group buy 3+ units. Just waiting for the reply.

No reason it should cost 7k FFS. The Atomic Rack was around $1000 if I recall. Granted it was a while ago, but still.

Anyone that already has one willing to let me borrow it for some reverse engineering? I could put up some Step files for those willing to fab for themselves.

I will add myself as a +1 more for a quick ratio if this gets off the ground

I reached out to Joel at Grannas Racing this morning to see if he could do another batch of the 14:1 steering racks

Grannas: "i dont have any control over (a quick ratio reprouction), its the rack manufacturer who has discontinued the ratio"

Next ask is if he can get me in contact with his rack manufacturer to see if we can get a committed/paid batch reproduction

I could be wrong, but I thought the rack was flaming river. Even if not, worth checking out, they have a form to fill out for custom racks.
