Glad to see a good spread...though not surprised 30-40 is the highest as these cars were the ones we dreamed about and had posters up in our rooms of. One great thing though, the body style is truly timeless. I ALWAYS get teenagers and young kids giving my FD's a double take. Most of them have no idea how old it is!

We need an option to update since I was 30-40 when this thing was posted and am now 40+, hahahaha.
I was getting ready for a solid mid-life crisis stage since I'm 41 and my daughter is 14, but low and behold, I got my wife pregnant so I get to start the raising baby time all over again in December, hahahahaha.

I bought my first FD when I was 19. I had a Mustang GT previously and lost a race to an FD. Sold the Mustang and bought the fd a few months later. Blew something like 7 motors and all the money I could make messing with it and learning the platform. I'm 40 now and have been working on them and have owned 7 fds since among other cars.

Rotorhead for life

Lets see, first rotary was a '85 GSL-SE in 1985 at age 24, my first new car. First FD was a new '93 base, at age 32 - had to sell that one less than a year after I got it as kiddos were on the way and my now ex wife needed a wagon/van. Fast forward to '99, and I picked up my '89T2 which became a long term restoration project, and I picked up another FD last year at the age of 58.

First new car was an '81 FB. Purchased an FC Turbo II in '87 and my FD in June of '93 when I thought I was old at 36! During that span of time went from single to married to married with 3 kids. Whole bunch of other cars in between, but just one wife. She's a saint!
