OMG... beautiful. The CCW classics look great on the black FD... I love the look. I think I made up my mind about my next wheels What sizes/tires are you running? 18x10 +50? 285/30/18 tire?

The recommendations I received from Panspeed with respect to wheels was to maintain the same widths/tyre profiles front to back and that I would not get away with 10's on the front with their arches and skirts.

Same wheel but 10 inch wide so a little more concave, and matte black.

Skip2mypoo, how many miles do you plan to get out of those tires? I like the lip on your setup, but not the excessive camber needed to run it

I believe it's a Mazdaspeed STYLE, but based on the quality of the fiberglass, I would say "No", it is not an actual Mazdaspeed. It came with the car when I bought it about ~2 years ago.

Correct. The hood did have to be modified however, because previously, it sloped downwards, and it would hit the valve cover of the 2JZ. See pics below

nice i can roll with that.. normally i hate engine swaps into FD..and a 1j/2j are only ones i can deal with, so this is definitely cool.

So, My car's finally back on the road, so a friend and I went for a little trundle today and took some photos. Light was rubbish, but fundamentally, so are my skills with a camera.

His car is lovely, I'd forgotten how pretty they are as standard. :smitten:

Mine's the white one, his the black.
