finally got the wifes car to the drag strip last week.
full street trim as we drove it on an 800km cannonball run trip, managed a 12.3 @ 113mph. was quite happy. wasnt the stickiest of start lines but was still pretty good, best 60' was 1.8 on this 12.3 run.
ok for what is almost a daily driver, but with a not so great feeling gearbox and a play with tyre pressures I would have liked to dip into the 11s and then we would be stoked.
and thats me confirming with official it was a single pass, not doing the PR thing of suggesting 'number 1' lol
and a couple of pics of my car
fitten the new TEINs yesturday.
set them right down as I wanted to see what tyre clearance there was with the Burnout gaurds, and there is no engine to weigh the front down lol
I think it looks good, Im not a fan of the hella flush ****. Some angles it looks like wheels are in too far, but others look close ok. maybe a 5 mm closer to gaurds and it would be perfect I think. Though it does seem to be more clearance on left that the right but front gaurds are practically just sitting there and rears can be easily moved, this car will have the same kit as my wifes car, same front (we have the canards etc for the front), same skirts, defuser, just different wing and bonnet
