I don't think I've ever met or heard of ANYONE that wanted to swap from black to tan interior LOL.

 

+1... if you have a black interior and you want tan, you're doing it wrong.

 

Funny... I had tan interiors and i traded them for the R1 seats to someone who really wanted the tan...

so.. yeah, there are people out there that like them.

 

^probably some color-blind dood hahah. Tan has got to be the worst interior color ever imo!
Black being the only acceptable option for me.

 

^ Lol I'm not color-blind When I was shopping for my FD I specifically look for one with tan leather, I hate how boring the black interior look. I get a lot of compliment on my tan interior at car meet, people think it looks clean and classy

 

There is a difference though. 93 tan interior is aweful, because all the plastics are tan. 94 and up have black plastics with the tan seats. That is much better in my opinion. Although i do like all black the best.

^^ To 90's for me.....Painted interior panels just don't look good to me anymore... I liked them at one point BUT that was when I was much much younger..

It should be Black on Red with BEIGE..... Your Floor mats should be black...

 

I like all black with the tan leather seats IF its going to be leather, however I prefer aftermarket buckets or the oem R1 or base seats.

 

yea, i have the stock floor mats, but they kept getting caught with the clutch pedal while releasing, so i put some temp floor mats in them until i got better ones.
as for the painted interior, yea, i prefer all black, but i bought the car like that and after i changed a few things, the red with black didnt look too bad so i stuck with it

Either way I think all color combo looks great, I just have a thing with tan interior, my MX-6 has full tan interior as well.

@A3VT ... not a fan of your color (I'm kinda conservative) but painting the whole frame is the way to go when changing color, good work. Clean bay too!

 

Thanks man! The alternator cover and the pulleys are getting coated, but not sure what to do with the intercooler yet. The ducting is also aluminum and I don't know how that would turn out. Guess it's time to whip out photoshop :P

Btw DeeSan your 7 is perfect, I wish mine looked half as good.
