So a little while back I posted that I was looking for the neutral switch on the trans pn r507-17-640 because Mazda no longer makes them. My post was removed because I posted it in the wrong place sorry my bad haha but before it was removed someone replied that I can rewire the reverse switch pn r508-17-640. I can purchase the new reverse switch and the rewire is easy. So my question is does that work because it’s a different switch or is it the same switch just how it’s wired and where it’s placed thanks
