I've been looking for a steering wheel like that for awhile just to have as a nice 'genuine' alternate to the basic wheels commonplace today. Price is meh imo; not particularly excited about the condition either and faux carbon is lame too. Hub is interesting because of rarity but price will make a hard sale.
I swear there was a carbon or kevlar framed steering wheel available at one time? Maybe I'm confusing with another manufacturer. Still kicking myself I passed on that wheel.

I was never a fan of short shifters. I’ve tried numerous ones and they never feel quite right. I prefer the normal OEM throw.
The steering wheel would be nice. Alas, I have a vehicle that requires an airbag. As much as I hate airbags, I just don’t want the hassle I’ll get from insurance for driving around without one.
The huge ticket numbers are the big rare pieces such as hoods or bumpers. Try to find anything R spec is next to impossible. When you do, the price for such things is thru the roof!
I was always on the fence about an r spec hood. Alas, the last somewhat decent one I saw went for $13g’s US. That’s even before you attempt to get it over here to North America.

I recently bought one each of the FD interior hatch sidewalls (left and right) from the same vendor selling on Yahoo Japan. They cost C$50 each. The seller shipped the pieces domestically to Buyee for about C$42. Buyee re-forwarded one to me for about C$130. The other side they diverted to the special packaging ops, and they put the thing is a huge box. Now they are asking C$660 to ship it. My appeals fell on deaf ears. I will likely abandon.
At the same time I bought a fender with vent for about C$90. Domestic shipping to Buyee was $80. Then Buyee shipped to me for C$42.
I find some large pieces quite discounted on Yahoo Japan, perhaps because storage is a premium in Japan?
But shipping large pieces is a gamble.
Best to work through Jesse Streeter for such things (also for the good deals on OEM wheels).
I have bought a lot of small stuff through Buyee, manuals, brochures, diecast, small trims, turn signals, etc.
Their consolidated shipping service works quite well, in that regard.
Best not to request their protective packaging service.
They go hog wild with the jumbo bubble wrap.

Irrational exuberance at it's finest imo. Back when I was obsessed with meaningless things, I imported the entire MS bushing kit + steering shaft and engine mounts, carbon '99 wing, front and rear (green) sway bars, clutch + flywheel, plug wires, faux carbon mirror cover, AST, etc.
Reinforced steering shaft
QFD1 32 090A
I'll admit that I do still wonder from time to time where my '94 CW outfitted with a complete genuine '99 kit (plus a fair amount of genuine RZ parts) and all those madazdpeed parts I imported ended up. From what I remember, I sold it to was a 240sx guy in the late 2000's who was in full 'D1 drift mode' and getting ready to v8 swap it. A small part of me died inside when I heard his plans but literally no-one wanted 3rd gen's back then (let alone hardcore jdm one's) and I was happy to see it gone. I put a ton of time and energy into the vehicle to the detriment of personal obligations. Live and learn.

A damaged 'just ok' condition MS wheel just closed for JPY 72,500 or about $625 before shipping etc:
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp...on/f1028494428
Was just the wheel-- no hub, no horn button, no hardware, Nuthin. It did come partially wrapped in electrical tape though

As somewhat of a MazdaSpeed collector/enthusiast....
These prices are absurd lol I remember buying my first 350mm with horn pad and button for 325 and it's probably close to a 1k wheel now.
You CAN still find some deals, but they are very few to nonexistent. I'm still on the fence whether this rapid uptick in price is a good or bad thing.

The 2nd however…. Big big fan of it. However, I had a friend who had the entire GT-C kit and man did I ever envy that front end until the next time I saw him. Mind you, he didn’t even drive his car all that much. For the street, that front end is going to run you big time every time you encounter a deep hole or even roadkill. As you can see in the pics, the bottom portion of that bumper will get mashed. It doesn’t matter how careful you are. The bumper will always appear broken because you will always hit something that will inadvertently damage the front bumper.
I think my friend fixed that bumper about 5 times and finally gave up on the 6th. Until of course the damn thing wouldn’t stay on the car anymore.
It’s a shame because it’s a really sweet bumper. But unless you don’t mind the front end looking always mangled, I would avoid getting this bumper.
As a static piece..

Get ready because I can assure you that bumper is going to go for way more. It’s currently sitting at 4g’s cdn with 4 days left. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up going for at least 6-7g’s cdn. I bet it’ll go for more.
The kicker is that’s just for the part! You still have to get it here.

Buyee purchase just came in today. Seller claimed it is a Mazdaspeed piece. But even if it isn't still a nice piece. Cost me about C$300. I have an authentic 2001 Bathurst R CF piece. Look forward to see if they match up. I suspect the shift boot is aftermarket, but the retaining ring has a RX7 part number.

The silver one has a fixed buy-out price. See if it goes before the deadline.

It's been on Yahoo for a year to my knowledge - and probably longer. They're not silly enough to pay that price in Japan even.
Do expect the MS ones were subcontracted to one of the companies selling their own brand of fugly fibreglass nosecones too. Slightly weird thinking 20 year old Mazda junk has a cache, but then again blokes rub themselves raw over R100s and Rx3s now!

I had a replica of this. Sold it for $300. The replicas may still be out there, for maybe $400.
The real ones might have "Mazdaspeed" molded into the underside of the wing.
here is a replica for sale:
