Gramlights 57dr pr 56c?? Color?? Help!!!!
Hard time deciding on this setup so any input is appreciated.
Repainting her either matte or satin black. I need some wheels sooooooo...
which model?
gloss black or gun metal?
17 or 18?
As of now I am thinking 17x8.5 or 9 or front and 17x9 or 9.5 rear. Thinking 235 front and 255 rear. I do not want to mess with rolling fenders or anything. Cant decide on color or which model and it is driving me crazy. I am also trying to figure out tires and coilovers!!! Help!!

Style is up to you.
Size depends on off-set and what you're using the car for...….https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...sages-1075030/

I would stay away from gloss black wheels, hard to keep clean with brakes and all. Further, if you have a black car they will never match quite right, the tire rubber will fade, and it all ends up looking like a cheap massacre. Go with gun metal or silver.
The 57c have been installed on many a FWD Honda product, so I would not buy those. They expose too much of the brakes, which are old and rusted on your car (probably?). Get the wheel that covers up the ugly.
Don't paint the car matte; it's something that looks cool from time to time in pictures, but I don't think anyone actually likes it enough to have "staying power". For example, no manufactures are offering new cars with matte finish, are they? It's a trend like 3-D TV's, remember those?
I would choose 17" wheels because tire choices are aplenty and they cost less. Maybe I am getting old, but I prefer a thicker sidewall to "track day bro" like handling. Even if you use the same tires for amateur racing, it is worth it to me to compromise a second or two on my lap time and have a comfortable tire the other 360 days of the year. I would recommend Goodyear F1 GSD3; best tires I ever had for the aforementioned application. Buy American, boy!
For coilovers, spend as much as you want to afford. They seem to hold their value relatively well.

Thanks for the reply. I am pretty set on a satin black for the car, but I can agree with the negative on the gloss black. I was almost considering a bronze for awhile, but thinking the gun mental would be incredible.
I agree with the 17s and considering how harsh the ride will be with many coilover options the higher sidewall will be nice. As for the coilovers I am looking to spend around 1500 probably. I am currently researching what I think would be best
Thanks again for your opinion. It is very much appreciated!

Disregard this post as I have decided on Enkei. I think for the $ they are still light and excellent quality. I would prefer to spend a few hundred extra on the suspension. I also think the offsets are easier to find.

If you're going Enkei, you might make note of my post in that thread I linked earlier. 17x9 +48 in PF01SS (pics if you want on my profile album), I run 255/40's all around. No rolling, speedometer is still close and you have enough side-wall for practical street driving and comfort. I have coil-overs (Ground Control) just a bit lower than stock. As I recall, the (helpful) guy at Enkei's tech help-line told me his records indicated that I could run as wide as 265/40 at the rear without issues.
