Hi guys I rewired my pump with a 20-40 relay using this diagram. I read many threads but i cant find clearly what i have to do with my fuel pump resistor and my speed relay. Some help will be much appreciated.

You remove it. Cut the pig tail off the resistor itself and connect the 2 wires. Youre making something of a jumper plug to bridge the wires. The circuit for the fuel pump goes through it on the red/white wire.
