My car still has the OEM tan carpet and the mats as well. Carpet is good, as is the top of the passenger mat, but the backing on both is cracking off.

I'd like to find new mats, but the Lloyd mat in tan at Mazdatrix is actually a beige and looks pretty bad over the OEM tan carpet.

Does anyone have a clue on where I might be able to find a tan mat that matches the carpet?

 

There is a member on here that does floor mats I believe his name is Jason, try using other search engines outside of the forum using the title "RX7club floor mats"

 

My mats were purchased from Tri Point Engineering several years ago. They have held up very well, and match perfectly. I dont know if they still carry them.

Jason used Lloyd mats and just did the embroidery if my memory serves me correctly.

 

There's no good foto of these on their website. But RX7.com sells a matching pair for the tan interior that won't displease you I suspect. I've been very satisfied with mine.

I did a buy of floormats for the local guys a while back from JasonS, he doesn't do tan mats any more. His mats are superb quality, though.

They're hard to come by, my 1000 mile MB on Tan '93 FD came with a like new set (1000 mile, duh) and a spare set of OEM tan mats I plan to hang on to

 

These are Lloyd mats as well.
