Feed fenders and oil cooler venting

Feed fenders and oil cooler venting

Just in the process of installing some feed front fenders.
It occurs to me that there is no longer a vent for the oil coolers like there is with the stock fenders.
What is the remedy there, vent to the wheel well by windowing the liner and riveting mesh in ?

I can’t imagine that the feed cars are simply running with no exhaust for the oil coolers.
I am only running a single 32 row on the left, the right hand oil cooler opening is now the inlet duct for brake cooling hoses.

It still vents just not through an actual vent. It just goes out between the fender and door jam. The ducting for the vent is built into the liner. If its all still intact then its just going to go wherever air can go since its not sealed. If you really wanted to have a means of "exhaust", you can cut a square out of the fender liner directly behind the cooler and screen mesh that with a thin aluminum frame for structure.

Yeah, the mesh venting to the wheel well is about the only way they can work properly. But it’s not ideal to introduce higher pressure air that way.
That small stock ducting on the liner that goes to the stock fender outlet is removed with the feed fenders, no room for it, or point to it.
Kind of surprised it’s not a well considered point given feed’s reputation on the track, and how many people run them on track oriented cars.

Its because it doesn't have as much impact as you think it does. Like I said, the end of the track on the fender liner isn't sealed so the air will still exit in the same location. It's just not being routed out of the fender vent. Its instead just exiting whenever it exits. You can test whatever theory you want with a leaf blower but I can tell you you're giving this more consideration than necessary... and the necessary amount is 0.
